These windproof lighters are a beautiful addition to
any usable vintage collection and are made by the famous
Zippo Company of Bradford Pennsylvania.
The 1941 Replica differs from contemporary designs by
a more rounded case top and a flat, sharp plane front
and back. The inside unit features less chimney holes
and a hollow rivet holds the striking wheel in place.
Finally, the hinge is comprised of a four-barrel joint
compared to today’s five-barrel hinge. Our Black
Crackle lighters are coated in-house and coat the
entire piece (yes, including the bottom).
The 1937 Replica reflects the design and grace found
in the very first Zippo lighters made by the company in
the mid 1930's. This replica duplicates the original pieces
with a very square appearance on all six sides and the
ever identifiable double slash marks on the corners. Please
note: the 1937 Replica utilizes a contemporary internal
unit.
