German "Short Guard" Boot Knife
The German "Short Guard" Boot Knife is a
classic tool used by many branches of the German armed forces durring
WWII. Its design differs from the "Long Guard" version by
a shorter blade, spear point blade tip and, of course, by a short
oval hilt. The scabbard also differs by a 1 finger retaining clip
as opposed to a 3 fingerd clip on the "Long Guard" scabbard.
These knifes were widely used on all fronts durring WWII and became
prized trophies by many Allied Troops. Overall Length: 10.5",
