Imperial German Boot Knife The Imperial German Boot Knife is a fine replica of a blade commonly found in the trenches of WWI and used up through WWII. Featuring a solid full steel tang and hilt, the handle of this knife is solidly pinned hardwood, jigged with grips exactly like the original. The blade features replica stampings and the scabbard is constructed of steel and features a leather retainer and belt loop. Many of these pieces were passed from fathers who served Germany in WWI to their Sons who would fight in WWII. Consequently, these knives graced the overseas bags of retuning Allied troops as war trophies and even saw combat tucked in the footwear of American and British forces.
